Services Overview

ML Design x Build provides bespoke bathroom remodelling and design services, including but not limited to full bathroom renovations, custom bathroom installations, and design consultations. The details of each service will be agreed upon through direct consultation and contract with the client.

Consultation and Quotes

• Initial consultations are free of charge or may be subject to a fee, which will be communicated before booking.

• All quotes provided by ML Design x Build are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

• Quotes are based on the information provided at the time. Changes in scope, design, materials, or unforeseen issues may affect the final cost.

Payment Terms

​

• A non-refundable deposit of 15% of the total project cost is required to confirm your booking and secure materials.

• The remaining balance will be due upon completion of the project, unless otherwise agreed upon in the contract.

• All payments must be made in accordance with the payment schedule outlined in your contract. Late payments may incur additional fees or project delays.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

​

• Clients may cancel their project within 7 days of signing the contract for a full refund of any deposit paid.

• After the 7-day period, any cancellation will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

• In the event ML Design x Build needs to cancel the project due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will be entitled to a full refund of all payments made.

Project Timeline

​

• The estimated timeline for completion will be provided prior to starting the project.

• While we strive to complete all projects on time, delays due to external factors (e.g., material availability, weather conditions, unforeseen complications) may occur. We will communicate any significant delays to the client as soon as possible.

• ML Design x Build is not responsible for delays caused by third-party suppliers or subcontractors.

Changes to Project Scope

​

• Any changes or additions to the agreed-upon project scope must be requested in writing and may incur additional costs and extend the project timeline.

• Changes will be confirmed through a signed change order, detailing the additional work and associated costs.

Client Responsibilities

​

• The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the design, specifications, and desired outcome of the project.

• The client must ensure that the workspace is accessible and free from obstructions before work commences. Delays caused by lack of access or site preparation may affect the project timeline and costs.

• It is the client’s responsibility to obtain necessary permits or permissions, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Warranties and Guarantees

​

• ML Design x Build guarantees the quality of craftsmanship for a period of six months from the completion of the project.

• This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by external factors.

• Certain products or materials may be covered by manufacturer warranties, which are the responsibility of the manufacturer. ML Design x Build will assist with any claims where possible.

Liability

• ML Design x Build will take all reasonable care to ensure the work is carried out to a high standard. However, ML Design x Build is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from the use of the website or from a project, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or reputation.

• In no event shall ML Design x Build’s liability exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service rendered.
